Wilson & Team-Mates In Determined Mood

Harry Wilson says the Tigers are determined to bounce back from last weekend's defeat to Sheffield Wednesday and end the season in positive fashion.

Just three games remain of the 2017/18 campaign and Nigel Adkins’ side face games against sides that all, as it stands, still have plenty to play for in the race for promotion.

The Tigers still have a bit of business to take care of themselves with Championship status not yet mathematically secured, leaving Wilson and his team-mates focussed on getting results against Cardiff City, Brentford and this Saturday’s opponents Bristol City.

“We’re all looking forward to the game on Saturday,” said Wilson.

“When you lose a game like we did last weekend you want to put it right as soon as possible. There was no midweek game this week, so the chance comes against Bristol City this weekend.

“We’ve got three games coming up against teams that, as we speak, have still got a lot to play for and are fighting for play-off places or automatic promotion.

“They’ll be three tough games but we know that we still have work to do as well. We need to go into these games and play in the way that we know we can to get some results.

“We know that Bristol City play some good football and they’re a good team, but we’ll go there and concentrate on what we can do with the aim of coming home with a positive result.”

For Wilson, the next three weeks will see his current loan spell from Liverpool come to an end and the Welsh international is continuing to enjoy his football in black and amber.

“Every player wants to play regular football, and when you’re doing it in a team that has been doing well like we have over the last month or two it’s even better,” added Wilson.

“I’m enjoying my football, so I’m happy. At the moment I’m just concentrating on finishing the season strongly and hopefully I can get a couple more goals and assists to help the team. Then it will be time for a break over the summer and we’ll see what happens in pre-season.”
