Hull City players have arrived in Portugal for their week-long pre-season camp ahead of the new campaign.
Players and coaching staff flew out from Leeds Bradford Airport this morning and will once again be staying at the Cascade Wellness & Lifestyle Resort in Lagos, which is widely regarded as having southern Europe’s finest football facilities.
Along with the hard work of intense training sessions in the Algarve heat, the Tigers will also play two pre-season fixtures whilst out in Portugal, facing C.S. Maritimo on Tuesday 10th July (KO 7pm) before returning to action three days later against S.C. Braga with kick-off for the friendly clash also at 7pm.
Both games will take place at Estadio da Nora, Albufeira – home of FC Ferreiras. It’s a familiar venue for the Tigers, having played there against Oxford United and Bristol Rovers last summer.
We’ll be with the players and staff throughout, so make sure you keep checking our social media channels for exclusive pictures, interviews and comment as Nigel Adkins’ side continue their preparations for the 2018/19 Sky Bet Championship campaign.
