Stephen Kingsley says the Tigers are keen to bounce back from the weekend disappointment and end the season on a positive note when they travel to Brentford next Sunday.
The final game of the campaign will see Nigel Adkins’ side aiming to earn a result to send them into the summer break with positive thoughts, with Kingsley eager to help that happen.
“As players we need to set something right after last weekend,” said Kingsley.
“It was disappointing to get beaten at home and so we have one last opportunity to put that right on Sunday.
“We want to end the season on a positive and then use that to move forward through the summer and into next season.
“We’ve had a better second half to this season under the new manager and that is also something that we need to take into next season.
“There’s definitely plenty of room for improvement, though, and we don’t want to be at the bottom end of the Championship again.
“We’ve got one game left for this season, though, and our aim is to finish on a positive note.”
