The Tigers twice fought back from two goals down to earn a share of the spoils in what was a remarkable ten-goal thriller against Bristol City at Ashton Gate on Saturday.
Harry Wilson curled Nigel Adkins’ side ahead, but Marlon Pack’s 25-yard shot and a Famara Diedhiou strike made it 2-1 at the break before the latter added his second of the afternoon to make it 3-1 eight minutes after the restart.
Fikayo Tomori’s first senior goal reduced the deficit three minutes later, only for Bobby Reid to restore the Robins’ two-goal advantage on 64 minutes.
However, three strikes in the space of a crazy 15 minutes saw the game turned on its head as strikes by Wilson, Abel Hernandez and Fraizer Campbell put the Tigers ahead. However, it was the home side who had the final say as Joe Bryan’s stoppage-time equaliser ensured the points were shared.
