The Tigers signed David Marshall from Cardiff City for an undisclosed fee in August 2016. The goalkeeper signed a three-year contract.
Born in Glasgow, Marshall began his career at Celtic before moving south of the border to join Norwich City in 2007. After making just over 100 appearances for the Canaries, he signed for Cardiff City where he would go on to become captain during a seven-year stay.
Marshall made almost 300 appearances for Cardiff, helping them to win promotion to the Premier League in 2013 as they finished as Championship Champions, beating the Tigers to the title.
With 24 international caps, Marshall is also a regular in the Scotland squad.
