A young Tigers side will be in East Riding County Senior Cup Final action against Bridlington Town on Tuesday 15th May (KO 7.30pm).
The final will be staged at the Roy West Centre on Inglemire Lane. Admission to the game is £6 Adults and £3 Concessions.
Jon Beale’s youngsters are bidding to lift the East Riding FA’s most prestigious trophy for the first time since 2003/04.
The Tigers entered this season’s competition in the second round stage, where they registered a 3-2 after extra-time victory over Sculcoates Amateurs – Ahmed Salam (2) and Jacob Greaves with the goals.
That win set-up a home tie against Hall Road Rangers in the last eight, which was safely negotiated as goals from Ben Hinchliffe, Greg Luer and Will Annan saw the Tigers claim a 3-1 win at Bishop Burton College.
Beverley Town provided the opposition in the semi-finals at the beginning of April – and a commanding performance from Beale’s youngsters resulted in a comprehensive 4-0 win. Greg Olley opened the scoring in the first half, before three goals in the last ten minutes – from Olley, Billy Chadwick and Robbie McKenzie – booked the Tigers’ place in the final for the second successive season.
