Michael Dawson will leave the Tigers this summer after agreeing to rejoin former club Nottingham Forest.
Dawson agreed terms at the City Ground earlier today, bringing to an end a near four-year stay at the KCOM Stadium.
Signed from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2014, the former England international followed in brother Andy’s footsteps when helping the Tigers to win promotion via the play-offs, captaining the side to a Wembley win in 2016 in what was arguably the highlight of his time in East Yorkshire.
In total he made 132 appearances in black and amber, scoring nine goals along the way, and now returns to the club where he came through as a youngster.
We would like to thank Michael for his service and wish him well for the future.
