2018/19 Season: Key Dates

Tigers' supporters will be able to start making plans for the 2018/19 season in one month's time as the Sky Bet Championship fixtures will be released at 9am on Thursday 21st June.

We know that fixture release day is always an exciting time for supporters as they get ready to take a look at the upcoming games for Nigel Adkins’ side.
Therefore, we have compiled some key dates for all supporters to keep in mind ahead of next month’s release day.

The domestic summer transfer window is open now, whilst the transfer of players from another national association can take place from Friday 9th June.

* The players will return for pre-season training on Monday 25th June.
* Nigel Adkins will take his squad away to Portugal for a training camp from Sunday 8th July to Saturday 14th July, while it is anticipated that the trip will also include a couple of pre-season fixtures on Tuesday 10th and Friday 13th July.
* The opening set of fixtures for the new campaign will take place over the weekend of Friday 3rd August to Sunday 5th August.
* The summer transfer deadline day will be on Thursday 9th August. However, EFL Clubs will still be able sign free agents and loan players up to Friday 31st August.
* The First Round of the Carabao Cup will be played the week commencing the 13th of August 2018.
* The final day of the season looks set to take place on the 4th of May 2019.
